REGIONAL SALES ENGINEERS

Background

TRANS LYFT Lifting Technology is the leading supplier of commercial lifting solutions in the retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Due to growing demand and retirement of long serving staff we are looking for Regional Sales Engineers to join our expanding sales team, selling installations throughout the UK.

Job Description:

You will be inspired by a job that challenges you to be proactive and come up with new ideas and solutions that draw on your experience in response to the client brief through to the installation. Customer Service is our top priority and speed of response, expertise and knowledge are critical success factors in all projects. This is a great opportunity to work with the leading supplier in the sector.

Main duties and responsibilities:-

  • Customer surveys and preparing specifications and quotes
  • Managing sales territory with repeat business and new prospects
  • Provide end-to-end technical support, advice and expert knowledge

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in field sales engineering positions including designs , quotes and installing bespoke lifts, integrated systems and standard equipment
  • Knowledge and experience of installing and operating lifts in specialist material environments e.g. food/pharmaceuticals etc
  • IT Knowledge – Microsoft Windows/Office and understanding of Autocad and Solidworks drawings
  • Self-motivating personality that can independently manage sales territory, customer contact and company information
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and passion for excellent customer service
  • UK travel
  • This position requires regional travel at short notice and travel to the manufacturing facility and factory in Denmark may be required periodically

TELESALES MARKETING / LEAD GENERATOR, Shipston-on- Stour, Warwickshire


SALARY £17,000 + OTE = £22,000

Translyft Lifting Technology is the leading provider of lift solutions to a variety of companies including Jaguar Land-Rover, BMW, Aldi and DHL.

Our successful business is growing and as a result we are about to expand into a brand new bespoke warehouse, showroom and modern office in the Shipston Business Village.

To support the next phase of our development we are looking to add to our existing team and recruit a dynamic Lead generator/Telemarketing person.

To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will have a naturally confident and eloquent telephone manner with a talent for generating leads, enquiries and appointments for our sales team.

This is a new role supported by a strong marketing programme and established sales and service teams.

Full training will be provided and as with all our team, success is rewarded.

THE JOB

  • Responsible for generating new business appointments for the sales team
  • Developing and maintaining a prospect database
  • Support events and marketing projects
  • Building leads through online research, industry calls and utilising external support
  • Networking nationally within the sector to highlight opportunities
  • Using external and company data to identify opportunities and development
  • Liaising with sales, service teams and third parties
  • Working to targets and KPIs
  • Building rapport and relationships with new and potential customers

THE PERSON

  • Self-starter with a natural talent for generating leads and enquiries
  • Excellent telephone manner with outstanding interpersonal and written skills
  • Ability to confidently liaise with third parties of all levels
  • Organised and efficient with strong administration skills
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office
  • Detailed knowledge of the industry sector is not essential but knowledge and experience of B2B marketing is desirable
