Our Story

Once upon a time, back in 1978, TransLyft Ergo A/S was established and moved to Dybvad in 1999, a small quiet town in North Jutland Denmark, surrounded by open farmland. A town that hosts an open-air music festival every summer.

TransLyft Lifting Technology began selling TransLyft products in 1999, moving to Shipston-on-Stour in 2010. Shipston too is a town surrounded by farmland which hosts an annual music festival every summer, The Shipston Proms. A Festival which we’re proud to be headline sponsors of.

Since the Millennium we’ve grown to become the leaders in supplying lifts of all shapes, sizes and capabilities to organisations throughout the country.

9 out of 10 of the lifts we supply are custom built to meet our customer’s specific requirements.

We specify, design, install, service and maintain them, and also offer a comprehensive range of some 200 standard lifts from stock.

Companies such as Jaguar Land-Rover, BMW, Aldi, DHL, and venues like The Barbican London and Bridgewater Hall Manchester use TransLyft precision-engineered lifts every day.

We also provide a service for lifts used in specialist environments- such as where food is being prepared, hazardous materials are used ,or chemicals are stored or processed.

Hospitals, manufacturing and distribution companies choose us to supply them with lifts that integrate into their work flows and systems too, or enable them ensure their staff and operatives are working to the latest Health and Safety or DDA regulations and guidelines.

Since 2000 we’ve sold more than 2000 lifts, and built strong and lasting relationships with our customers.

All lifts are manufactured in Denmark, and just as demand for our high quality lifts has grown, so has the factory – it’s now covers an area as big as two football pitches, with a team of around 70 engineers working on site.

Our success has grown out of customers need for our knowledge and expertise, high quality equipment, guaranteed reliability, and comprehensive support.
