Translyft has designed, manufactured and installed a loading bay solution for a bakery supplying many high street retailers.
The lift allows for the safe transfer of goods to and from vehicles docked onto the building with transfer to the warehouse floor or up to a mezzanine storage area.
Controls are "hold to run" push button type and feature E stops and gate release buttons at both levels.
A photocell sensor linked to traffic lights guide the vehicles into the correct docking position. The trailers are then accessed via a hydraulic lip or bridge plate.
The lift is controlled by a PLC and features an auto leveling function to keep the platform level with the mez floor during loading or unloading.
