| The designers of the multi-purpose development in Frankwell wanted cutting edge design on the outside and luxurious comfort inside to be matched by technologically advanced backstage facilities. The bespoke Translyft scissor lift allows automatic operation up to a height of three and a half metres, and the advanced design will also enable the theatre to cope with the movement of delicate equipment and scenery on and offstage as the lifts’ positions can be controlled with accuracy to the nearest millimetre, minimising the risk of damage. |
