| Translyft Supply Girls School with disabled / goods lift solution |

| Translyft has installed a lift at a London girls school to allow disabled access between levels outside one of the buildings. |
|
| The lift also allows for the safe transfer of goods from the delivery area to the canteen on the lower level. The lift is a standard double vertical platform and fitted with hand rails and gates. |
|
| The lift gates are electrically interlocked and must be closed for the lift to run, ensuring saftey for the goods and /or passengers. The upper level remote gates are mechanically interlocked and can not be opened if the lift is away from the upper level. | Translyft has designed, manufactured and installed a loading bay solution for a bakery supplying many high street retailers. |
|
|
| The lift allows for the safe transfer of goods to and from vehicles docked onto the building with transfer to the warehouse floor or up to a mezzanine storage area. |
|
| Controls are "hold to run" push button type and feature E stops and gate release buttons at both levels. |
|
|
| A photocell sensor linked to traffic lights guide the vehicles into the correct docking position. The trailers are then accessed via a hydraulic lip or bridge plate. |
|
| The lift is controlled by a PLC and features an auto leveling function to keep the platform level with the mez floor during loading or unloading. |
|
